Four housing facilities are available for international students and researchers at Kyoto University. Located in the Shugakuin, Uji, Ohbaku, and Misasagi areas, they are quiet neighborhoods on the suburban outskirts of the city of Kyoto. All the houses have an in-house advisor and assistant house advisor who will support residents in their day-to-day living. Shugakuin also has a medical advisor.
